As the Peer Recovery Team Supervisor, you will play an integral role in ensuring The Health Partnership team and programs are fully supported to deliver high quality prevention and intervention services to adults and families who are system-impacted. You will manage the coordination and administration of all aspects of the peer recovery specialist programming in the Yampa Valley. Your role will include supervising, leading, planning, organizing, delivering, supporting and managing team and the program. You will ensure programs, contract, grant, in partnerships with our Compliance Specialists, as well as promote program delivery and fidelity using evidence-based and promising practices. 


Your strong leadership, organizational and collaborative skills to work well under high-stress emotional experiences, high-level of empathy and ability to keep strong boundaries will enable you to thrive in this position. In this management position, you will support the mission of the agency and our partners, and act as a liaison between the peer recovery team, partners, and the agency leadership team. You will bring strong technical skills and business acumen to ensure programs are fully supported to consistently deliver high quality services with impact and excellence. 

You will serve as a leader on the agencies implementation team as we launch this exciting new program with key community partners and stakeholders. 


Supervision Received: The Recovery Team Supervisor is based out of the Steamboat office and supervised by the Executive Director and will supervise the peer recovery specialist and other care navigators supporting people with their recovery. 


Job Responsibilities: 

  • Manage operations of program and program staff (Peer Recovery Specialist and other members of the Recovery Team), ensuring high-quality services. 
  • Monitor staff schedules, provide monthly individual staff supervision, process personnel documentation and assist to hire program staff. 
  • Develop, revise, adhere to and support operational practices, procedures and policies. 
  • Report regularly to supervisor and collaborate to ensure program fidelity, effectiveness and sustainability. 
  • Manage the coordination, planning, and completion of all deliverable and contract performance goals.  
  • Facilitate classes and groups and oversee caseloads as necessary. 
  • Plan and complete regular peer support community events. 
  • Evaluate and support staff in creating service plans, assessing clients’ progress, implementing appropriate interventions, providing resources and referrals, and completing supporting documentation. 
  • Collaborate with partner agencies to maintain inter-agency communication and cooperation. Attend multi-disciplinary meetings and community meetings. 
  • Lead community outreach, participate and assign outreach efforts to program staff to ensure consistent referrals and program engagement.  
  • Maintain professional standards and boundaries of staff and self. Demonstrate ability to relate to and clients while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries. 
  • Attend meetings and/or participate on committees. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 


Education: Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience required.
